Terms of Service

Usage terms for the current VoiceSlate release.

These terms describe the current product expectations for VoiceSlate as a desktop voice workflow tool. They should be expanded with formal operator details before a full commercial rollout.

1. Product scope

VoiceSlate is a desktop software product for voice capture, transcription workflows, prompt shaping, archives, memory features, and related productivity actions. Features may depend on local configuration, user-supplied API keys, or optional third-party providers.

2. No guarantee of uninterrupted service

VoiceSlate may rely on local device permissions, network connectivity, third-party model providers, operating system behavior, or optional backend services. Availability and output quality are not guaranteed in all environments.

3. User responsibility

  • Users are responsible for reviewing generated output before relying on it.
  • Users are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party provider they enable.
  • Users should not use the product in ways that violate law, privacy, or platform rules.

4. Accounts and subscriptions

If account, subscription, or billing features are enabled, access to some features may depend on account status, payment state, or plan limits. Commercial operators should later replace this baseline section with the exact billing and refund rules they choose to enforce.

5. Third-party services

VoiceSlate may connect to transcription providers, model APIs, payment providers, and hosting or identity services. Those services are operated independently and may impose their own limits, availability, and terms.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiceSlate is provided on an “as is” basis without guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability, specific business outcomes, or fitness for a particular use case. Operators should adapt this clause with formal legal review before public commercial launch.

7. Future operator details

Before a full public launch, the site operator should replace this baseline with the legal entity name, contact details, governing law, refund policy, and customer support process that apply to the deployed commercial service.
